Try these 10 tips to keep yourself balanced.

Treat yourself with kindness and respect.

Taking care of yourself physically can improve your mental health.

  • Eat nutritious meals
  • Avoid alcohol and cigarettes
  • Drink plenty of water
  • Exercise
  • Get sleeping 
  1. Surround yourself with good people

People with strong family or social connections are generally healthier than those who lack a support network. Make plans with supportive family members and friends.

  1. Take time to laugh

Watch a comedy (Seinfeld or Friends) or check comedies online. Laughter helps reduce stress and anxiety.

  1. Keep Active

Take 30 minutes to go for a walk  through a park, with your dog, or walk in a nature reserve. Research shows that being in nature can increase energy levels and boost well-being.

  1. Take a break

It could be a five-minute pause.  A few minutes can be enough to de-stress you. Make time for yourself.
